The Largest Cashew of the World
Established a mandatory point of tourist attraction in the state, the largest cashew of the world is located about 25 km from Natal/RN on the Pirangi beach of North, the largest cashew of the world was registered in the Guinness Book in 1994. The area was formerly a master-owned site Sylvio Pedrosa (former mayor of Natal) and which was later donated to the State Government. According to the oldest inhabitants of the region, the tree is about 110-120 years old.
